This role will be fundamental in leading our transformation programme. By co-ordinating resources and aligning them with the vision for Leicester we can make a big difference.

We are looking for a person who will provide strong leadership and management to the organisation at a senior level, make the best use of available resources and deliver change effectively within a diverse and multi disciplinary workforce. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive you will lead the design and delivery of a strategic portfolio of complex programmes, change management and governance activity that is aligned and supportive of the vision and strategic priorities and derived outcomes of the Council.

You will be an experienced Senior Manager with substantial experience of leading complex change programmes in a large multi functional organisation. Having successfully delivered effective cultural change and developed staff capabilities you will also have had proven track record of coaching and advising Senior Managers on programme direction.

This is a challenging role and not for the faint hearted. We have high expectations for ‘One Leicester’, as Britain’s Sustainable City. If you share both our ambition and vision, and you think you measure up to the requirements of this post we would like to hear from you.
