With a national remit and influence, we’re responsible for real and lasting improvement in local government.

At the heart of the Strategy Directorate within our Corporate, Communities and Partnerships team, you will support our work programmes on environmental sustainability, climate change, place-shaping, economic prosperity, workforce development and cultural services. You will provide effective support to project teams and take responsibility for following corporate procedures and systems, whilst capturing customer interactions, drafting correspondence, organising events and conducting financial administration.

What’s more, you will be a key point of contact for a broad range of stakeholders, so you must combine excellent interpersonal skills with a highly organised and methodical approach. Experienced in the full spectrum of ICT applications, you will be well versed in business processes and practices, capable of ad hoc research and interested in local government improvement.

Secondment or fixed term contract opportunity for one year
