Temporary Project Co-ordinator/Assistant Administrative Officer

Salary:£16,536 - £18,430 a year pro rata 

Hours:18½ hours a week - Temporary until 30 September 2009

Self-motivated and experienced, you will support the Head of Service to project manage the delivery of a residential home for disabled children. Having recent relevant experience within an administrative environment and ideally experience in a supervisory role, you will co-ordinate and plan meetings, stakeholder change management processes, organise parent carer engagement and participate in planning and design.

Reporting directly to the Head of Service, you will participate in the development, introduction and maintenance of new systems and procedures, provide administrative support and maintain accurate and up to date information. Using project management software you will co-ordinate and produce documentation for the smooth and transparent project management of the unit.

Administrative support will be required in the recruitment, selection, induction and training of the new residential group, together with the direct supervision of the clerical staff assigned and the performance and disciplinary aspects through the appropriate procedures.
