Application Support Manager…About the Position…
Reporting to the Head of ICT Support, and leading the applications support function, you will have responsibility for all aspects of application support for the group’s 1200+ ICT users. This role is key to delivering a high quality and consistent service to our internal customers, and you will work closely with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Line support managers to ensure a joined up approach to support and incident management.

About You…
The department will be run based on ITIL principles and you must be able to demonstrate:
An expert technical knowledge of software applications in use within the group, software applications such as:
-Oracle
-SQL Server
-Operating systems
-iWorld and/or associate interfaces – preferred
-Keystone and/or associate interfaces – preferred

Ideally you would have come from a similar role as an Application Support Manager.

You will have a proven experience of managing, motivating and developing a team whilst having the ability to build excellent relationships with the applications business owners; understanding their issues and influencing them to make informed decisions.

You will add value to the design and implementation of procedures using best practice methods.
A track record of consistently delivering applications support to published service levels. Experience in meeting and delivering KPI’s, striving for consistency of service
