As Highway Authority for the area we have improved our Local Transport Plan performance for the second year running and are seeking enthusiastic and flexible engineers to help us to continue to advance. We have been successful in a major scheme bid for showcase bus routes in the greater Bristol area which will attract a further £38M of funding over the next 5 years.
We have just introduced career grades and are seeking two engineers/senior engineers who will assist in preparing, organising and managing all types of highway improvements, traffic management schemes or road safety projects in North Somerset.
You should have HNC plus two years post qualification relevant experience. You should possess good communication and negotiation skills and have the ability to use your own initiative as well as being a good team player.
