We are looking to recruit a skilled and creative individual to join our Children’s Governance and Planning Team as a Children’s Governance Officer (Strategy & Planning). You will play an important role in supporting the work of the team in particular in relation to strategic and operational planning and policy development work. This will inform wider decision-making and commissioning of services for children, young people and their families.

We are looking for someone with analytical and facilitation skills. Specific tasks include developing, implementing and maintaining mechanisms for strategic planning, policy & procedure development, performance management and inspection preparation, knowledge and experience of setting up monitoring systems analysing and retrieving data and experience of partnership working is essential.
