We are seeking an experienced senior manager to provide leadership to this new team within the Commissioning and Business Improvement Service. Reporting to the Head of Commissioning and Business Improvement, the Children’s Governance and Planning Manager will be responsible for the leadership and operational management of this newly created team. Working closely with the management team within this service, you will have responsibility for leading key elements of our commissioning cycle including needs assessment, planning and shaping services, quality assurance and performance management.

You will also be responsible for leading and developing our approach to inspection preparation and management, risk management, equality and diversity (local government standard), health and safety, research and monitoring and policy development.

If you have proven experience of managing a multi-disciplinary team, a management qualification and experience of working in these areas we would welcome an application form from you.
