You will be responsible for establishing and overseeing a well planned, staff development programme which meets CEL’s strategic and operational plans and the needs of individual staff. You will champion the use of Information & Learning Technology to raise standards. You will contribute to raising the performance of all services and functions to learners. You will promote CEL’s equal opportunities policy and ensure that staff have the knowledge, skills and support to implement it effectively.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills; a sound knowledge of teaching qualifications and strategies to improve teaching quality; an enthusiasm for developing the use of ILT and a strong commitment to equality of opportunity.
