It takes a broad range of buildings, facilities and land to deliver extensive services to a county the size of East Sussex – and a Surveyor can therefore expect a varied and challenging role. Joining our Estates Team, you’ll focus your expertise on acquisitions, disposals and key projects, including advice on acquisitions by compulsory purchase. You’ll also have a significant involvement in strategic estates work. Along with an extensive surveying background and full membership to The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you’ll have experience in a local authority setting, and more specifically negotiating acquisitions by compulsory purchase. You need to be able to engage effectively with a range of internal and external clients and work autonomously.
The salary for this post is £27,573 – £35,079 per annum (NJC Managerial Scale M1/M2/M3). Pay award pending.
