This position brings together the challenge of caring for vulnerable people in the community with the key aspects of financial control and accountability. Operating within a fixed budget, Adult Social Care needs to operate in the most cost effective manner as possible and still deliver excellence in social care.

Working within the service and across partnerships, this role assists and supports front line delivery to anticipate, plan and manage the complex issues of financial control and monitoring. Liaison with corporate finance to ensure a ‘one Council’ approach to finance is equally significant. This role will allow the right person to build and develop credible and productive relationships and systems across a broad sector and array of Council services.
