The Head of Finance will be the Responsible Accounting Officer for Guernsey’s Social Security Department. The postholder will have responsibility for all activities of the Finance Section within the Department including controlling the investments of the Guernsey Insurance Fund, Guernsey Health Service Fund and the Long-term Care Insurance Fund. The postholder will also be the lead officer in the negotiation, maintenance and performance monitoring of the commercial contracts and agreements to which the Department is a party.
