Shepherds Bush Housing Group provides award winning homes and services in west London. For the past 43 years we have been an integral part of the community. Today, we are diverse, providing quality housing and services and helping build safe, strong communities. Between our businesses we incorporate traditional housing provision, support services for those who are vulnerable, our own repairs and maintenance service and a development and property acquisition portfolio.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced HR advisor who is looking for a role which is truly generalist. Our small team delivers a wide ranging service to support our colleagues in achieving business objectives and continuous improvement in the way we work. You will provide advice and support on performance management and employee relations issues, resourcing, learning and development, pay and benefits and organisational change.

To succeed in this role, you will need to apply your sound knowledge and experience of HR practice and employment law in practical ways. You will enjoy working as part of a team in a busy environment with competing priorities, diverse services and an on-going programme of change. Excellent communication skills are essential in creating successful working relationships with our customers. You will also need to be well organised and able to maintain and develop administrative processes.

We offer excellent benefits including a generous flexi-time system, 25 days annual leave rising with service, a contributory pension scheme, Simply Health cash plan and a choice of flexible benefits.

Initially this post will be offered on the basis of a six month fixed term contract although this may be extended.

If you would like to have a chat about the role please contact Kate Turner – HR Manager on 020 8996 4770.

We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities as they are currently underrepresented in our workforce. All applicants with a disability that meet the essential criteria for a job will be guaranteed an interview.
