In order to develop and coordinate the new Post Qualifing framework in Social work Education and Training we are looking to appoint a temporary Organisational Development Consultant (PQ/CPD Coordinator) We are looking for an experienced social worker (GSCC registered) with a commitment to and understanding of PQ Awards to develop and deliver agreed Post Qualification training initiatives to meet agreed workforce development plans.
The main duties of this job will be to work across social work service areas to:
Provide leadership and direction on all issues pertaining to professional social work development at post qualification stages to ensure that an appropriate number and level of professional development opportunities are available to meet organisational and individual needs.
You should possess excellent communicaton and negotiation skills as you will be required to represent the Authority with partner agencies, higher educational institutes, professional bodies, awarding bodies, sector skills councils, local and regional alliences.
