This is an exciting time to join an established team embarking on providing an integrated HR Service to South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Torbay NHS Care Trust.

South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was awarded Acute Healthcare Organization of the Year 2011 by the Health Service Journal. It serves the South Devon area and encompasses approximately 3700 members of staff across a wide range of disciplines and staff groups.

Torbay Care Trust is an integrated health and adult social care organisation, responsible for providing and commissioning services for the population of Torbay, employing approximately 1,300 staff including frontline health and social care staff.

We are facing an exciting Human Resources agenda over the coming year during a time of significant change and are looking for committed people to join our team to help us meet these challenges.

1 Full and 1 Part Time (3 days per week Wednesday to Friday 9am to 5pm)

This is a demanding role and as part of a busy team you will be required to deliver an effective and comprehensive Human Resources service to a wide variety of staff groups, across both an Acute and Community provider. You will take a significant role in providing support and advice to operational managers on a wide range of employee relations issues including sickness absence management, disciplinary and grievance issues and all aspects of employee resourcing.

You should be qualified to CIPD level with proven experience of working in an Operational Human Resources Role with developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. You should be able to demonstrate knowledge of HR policies and practices, and be able to demonstrate application of this knowledge across of variety of employment relations scenarios.
