Children’s Service
FYi Team (Families and Young Peoples Information)

We are committed to the protection of children and vulnerable adults.

FYi offers free, comprehensive and impartial information about childcare and services available for children aged 0 – 20 years and their families in Barnet.

In this varied and interesting role, you will be part of a busy team providing a professional information advice and guidance service to the public and professionals.

You will need to have outstanding communication and customer care skills, be self-motivated, flexible and well organised. Additionally you will need excellent IT skills, and knowledge of the childcare sector would be an advantage.

A significant part of your time will be spent out of the office delivering the service in the community through outreach work, targeting hard to reach groups, which will include evening and weekend work.

You will need to have access to your own transport.
