The Council is looking for an enthusiastic person to take up this new role, which has arisen as a result of a restructure within Corporate ICT.
You will be responsible for the integrity and security of a wide range of corporate systems such as Telecoms, Web and fault logging applications. You will undertake the administration, configuration, technical and customer support for these systems. You will be responsible for updating and managing the information these systems hold.
You will carry out day-to-day activities on these applications such as ensuring availability and accessibility; fault resolution; monitoring; providing customer advice and guidance; writing management reports and analysing, defining and managing system interfaces.
You will be an excellent communicator as this role requires you to interact regularly with officers at all levels in the council to deliver services. You will work well as part of a small, integrated team and will be motivated, enthusiastic and able to determine your own priorities.
