About the Position…Lead 3rd Line Support Analyst

Reporting to Infrastructure Management, you will manage a small team of analysts providing 3rd line support for the group’s ICT infrastructure and resource for projects. The role will be ‘hands-on’ and require you to be an escalation point for technical issues and act in a lead capacity on project based work. As part of the newly formed ICT Support function, your role is vital to delivering a high quality and consistent service to our internal customers.

About You…

The department will be run based on ITIL principles and you must be able to demonstrate

  • Proven, expert knowledge of technologies used by the group e.g. VMWare, Citrix, Sharepoint, Microsoft products, Active directory.
  • Experience of managing and motivating a team
  • An enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service and a keenness for sharing knowledge with others
  • The ability to work effectively with all technical and applications support staff to ensure a joined up approach to support, projects and incident management
  • The ability to design and implement procedures/systems using best practice methods
  • A track record of consistently delivering service to published SLA’s.
