Management Information Officer

Salary:£24,331 - £28,270 SO1/SO2 

Hours:1x Permanent &1 x Temporary until 30/11/2009 37 hours per week 

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent, Contract position 

Location:Progress House, Blackpool

These posts provide an exciting opportunity to support Children’s Services in Blackpool within a dedicated Management Information Team. You will have a pivotal role in collecting, managing, analysing and reporting statistical information on the performance of services provided to Blackpool’s children and young people, while being given the opportunity to develop databases and IT systems to support this work.

Ideally, you should be a graduate with a background in research and statistics, first-rate IT skills and have experience of project work. You will be a strong team player and possess excellent communication skills. An understanding of children’s social care and/or education is also desirable.
