Hours:35 hours per week, One year contract

The London Borough Tower Hamlets and the PCT have created an exciting joint post of Project manager for the implementation of the mental capacity act with immediate attention on the development of the deprivation of liberty safeguards, for their implementation from April 1st 2009. Building on work already undertaken you will be responsible for support and timely implementation of the legislation and with supporting organisations ensure that vulnerable adults are afforded the statutory safeguards

You will have knowledge and be experienced in working with people for whom issue of capacity, choice and consent need to be addressed within a legislative framework. They will also have a record of successful management delivery, be a good communicator and organiser and be effective in working with a range of organisations in both the independent and statutory sector.

This post is subject to an enhanced CRB check.
