Network Policies Manager

Salary:£30,598 to £35,852 bar £33,291 a year. We are conducting a job evaluation exercise and as a result the salary of this post may increase or decrease, or stay the same.  

Hours:37 hours a week required from 1 October 2008 

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent position 

Location:HEM/Traffic & Safety, Winckley Square Complex, PR1 8RD

You will help to develop policies and provide guidance to the directorate on a range of topics related to traffic regulation and management. You must be able to keep up to date with current legislation and assist in its application on a day to day basis. You will also manage the annual 20mph programme and external contracts such as highway sponsorship. There will also be a need to manage the sections Parkmap system and arrange for its regular update.

Essential: You must have a degree, HNC or equivalent or NVQ in a relevant subject. You must have experience in traffic engineering or related field sand developing policies.
