OPERATIONS & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Countywide Adult Fieldwork Learning Disability Teams)

Salary:£34,991.00 - £40,101.00 per annum (pay award pending) 

Hours:37 hours per week 

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent position 

Location:Stroud, Cheltenham or Gloucester (to be negotiated)

Due to a recent Countywide re-structure and expansion of Learning Disability Fieldwork Operations, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Countywide Adult Fieldwork Learning Disability Teams.

You will have the personal qualities, drive and commitment to succeed within a professional, supportive, working environment, focused on delivering better service outcomes for our customers.

As an experienced leader and manager within an appropriate Social Care/Adult Health setting you will hold overall operational management responsibility for the agreed performance outcomes of the teams and future development of the service.

You will have a good working knowledge of relevant/current legislation and national directives/guidance regarding the modernisation of both health and social care services and how these relate particularly to adults with Learning Disabilities.

Continuous Professional Development, appraisal, supervision and ongoing training will enable you to enhance your knowledge, skills and experience as we work together to support the County Council goal of putting people first in Gloucestershire.
