Our Policy and Performance team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our businesses operate successfully with up to date policies and procedures for their core services, that best practice is disseminated and that our teams are prepared for any forthcoming inspections. In addition, Policy and Performance also work to ensure that our businesses remain compliant with the law, relevant regulations and continuously embrace industry best practice.

As Performance Analyst you will provide analysis and regular reports on benchmark and performance information and other statistical data across MHP to drive improvement activity. To monitor data sources and in liaison with others ensure that data is kept up to date and correct. To support, coach and train staff in accessing, analysing and presenting data and use of the software.

The candidate will have advanced skills with spreadsheets and will have the ability to use reporting and enquiry tools to extracting information from complex databases and to work with information technology professionals to specify reporting requirements and carry out user acceptance testing. The individual must have a high level of numeracy and will have good report writing skills. You will be educated to degree level in research or statistics or equivalent experience working in a research, business analysis or information environment and will also have the ability to support and coach staff.

The candidate will ideally have experience of carrying out a similar role in a housing association and/or public sector organisation. It would be of advantage if you have a knowledge of relational databases.
