Performance and Quality Information Officer

Employer:National Probation Service, Surrey Area 

Reference:08/07/01 

Salary:£19,909 - £25,974 (Plus £900 geographical supplement) 

Hours:37 hours per week 

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent position 

Location:Godalming 

Closing date:01/09/2008 12:00 PM 

Working within the performance team you will assist in the delivery of performance information and the refinement of reporting techniques to ensure accurate reporting of performance within the area.

You will act as a liaison point for teams across the service with a focus on developing and sharing knowledge on new performance indicators and the improvement of processes to aid performance improvement.

In addition you will be involved in the promotion of quality throughout the organisation to enable strategic planning and decision making. You will provide management and performance information to the Home Office, Board and Management Team.

You will have sound IT skills and familiarity with software tools such as Excel and Word. You will be used to interpretation and use of information, with an knowledge of data and statistical analysis techniques. It is also essential that you can demonstrate the ability to prioritise effectively in order to achieve targets, while working to a high level of accuracy.
