London TravelWatch is the official watchdog voice for transport users in and around the capital. We champion the interests of passengers through representation, consultation, investigation and monitoring and by taking every opportunity to press for a better travel experience for passengers. Our work is particularly crucial at the moment, when so much investment is being made in the transport infrastructure which will set the framework for generations to come.

You will be expected to have a detailed knowledge of current rail, London Underground and interchange issues together with a good understanding of generic transport policies, operations and consumer issues to help us secure improvements to transport quality within the Capital. You will be aware of what passengers want whilst also understanding the key issues facing operators. Essential to this role is your ability to conduct impact analyses of service provision and proposals such as timetable changes, train planning, rail franchising, fares and ticketing.

You are an experienced and highly effective communicator who will provide professional support to members and staff to inform our policy making. Confident and committed to service excellence, you will have a major input to national and local consultations and make key representations to external stakeholders.

28 days leave + incremental salary + season ticket loan + pension
