West Kent is recognised as an excellent housing association with excellent prospects for improvement. We are currently undergoing a period of further expansion and exciting change with the development of our consultancy business.
We require a Policy Manager to join our Operational Management Team (OMT) working closely with colleagues across the organisation and reporting to the Business Services Director. The main purpose of the job is to oversee our social housing policy development, in conjunction with the Executive Team, OMT and Service Managers.
As a key member of the OMT, you will lead and manage service improvements which deliver housing sector best practice and excellent customer service for West Kent. Your first-rate communication skills, an ability to advise on policy development and your strong analytical skills will assist you in performance monitoring. Your expert inter-personal skills will ensure that you quickly build and sustain excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
You should be educated to degree level or equivalent through experience and have experience and knowledge of housing management (social housing, in particular).
