The Natural History Museum is one of the world’s leading museums, internationally recognised for its dual role as a centre of excellence in scientific research and as a leader in the presentation of natural history through exhibitions, public programmes, publications and the web.
The Mineralogy Department is responsible for one of the most comprehensive collection of minerals and houses the national collection of meteorites and extensive collection of rocks, ores, building stones and ocean floor deposits. Reporting to Researcher in Economic and Environmental Mineralogy the Postdoctoral Research Assistant (PDRA) will apply geochemical techniques to study the interactions of layer silicates and naturally occurring organic molecules.
Interviews: week beginning 12 OR 19 April 2010 with a view to start 1 June 2010
