In this role you will proactively facilitate engagement both within and outside the police service to develop and deliver the local and Force PREVENT plan. Responsibilities will include facilitating the formation of forums for Young People and Women’s Groups and delivering briefings to support the roll out of PREVENT initiatives.
With knowledge and understanding of the National Counter Terrorism Strategy (CONTEST), you will have experience of managing community relations. You will also have experience and understanding of working within diverse communities and evidence of delivering projects within them.
On occasion you may be required to work flexible hours or at a different location to suit operational requirements. An enhanced level of vetting is required.
