You will work as part of a team with victims of serious crime, effectively providing information, support and guidance. You will keep them informed and updated on the progress of offenders through custodial sentences and seek their views on release plans. You will also contribute to the risk assessment and risk management procedures in order to help the victims feel safer and protect them from further victimisation.

You must be able to demonstrate sensitivity and composure as you will be dealing with conflict and emotional situations, and possess strong communication skills. You must be able to manage your own workload, have a full driving licence and the use of a vehicle.
