This is a great opportunity for you if you are experienced in procurement and would like to develop within a highly motivated and skilled team.
We are looking for a well-organised Procurement Officer to be part of a small team providing Procurement support to the unit and to the Council.
You will need to have experience of letting and monitoring Contracts. You will need to have good IT skills, and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as the capacity to use your own initiative to solve problems and prioritise constantly changing demands.
You will need to be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with colleagues, councillors, and members of the public. You will be expected to have a working knowledge of Procurement practise and legislation and to use this to deal with procurement related.
