An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Architectural Services Unit for a Project Manager/QS to provide a full project management and quantity surveying service in the delivery of major capital building projects using internal and/or external resources. To select consultants and contribute to the management of the consultants framework agreement including managing the performance of consultants to ensure successful delivery of building projects. The successful applicant will be required to work on their own initiative making a wide range of complicated decisions at project level.

To apply for the post of Project Manager/QS, you will need to have:

• A minimum of 8 years experience in project management / quantity surveying
• Experience of working with a wide range of professional staff at all levels.
• To be a Chartered Quantity Surveyor
