As the Community Engagement Project Officer you will lead and manage the implementation of the community engagement strategy with the purpose of improving public confidence in the criminal justice system in conjunction with the Thames Valley Criminal Justice Board’s Confidence & Equality Delivery Group. You will work with the criminal justice agencies and wider public sector e.g. Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnerships to collate and compile information on community engagement activities and issues to ensure co-ordination of engagement activities whilst developing and maintaining strong working relationships between partnership agencies through personal contact and the provision of targeted information to enhance multi-agency working.
You will have proven experience in planning, managing and delivering business-led projects using multi-disciplinary project teams along with effective facilitation skills, particularly in a project meeting environment. You will also have an A Level/HND qualification preferable in a relevant discipline or an equivalent management/project qualification, or relevant experience. Working under your own initiative and effective time management are also essential.
