Due to maternity leave, we are able to offer a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity for up to 1 year.

This is a key role in how people with a learning disability and their families are supported within Bracknell Forest. You will be responsible for the management of local authority provider services for adults with learning disabilities including a residential respite facility and day services.

As part of the modernisation we are re-developing the residential and day service facilities as well as continuing new ways of delivering these services, including sports and leisure opportunities, community art, employment, trips and weekends away for people who have been supported by ‘traditional’ services in the past.

You will have a track record of achieving excellence and will possess the vision, creativity and enthusiasm to enhance the success of the service.

You should also have excellent communication skills, experience of partnership working and an ability to engage carers and individuals in all aspects of service delivery.
