Buckinghamshire County Council’s Adult Social Care Reablement team, work at the heart of the community to deliver short term domiciliary assistance to maximise independence for service users.

We have a permanent opportunity, for a full time Team Manager. It is the responsibility of this role to develop and lead a team of staff to provide support & guidance to re-enable Service Users for a short period of time, to prevent hospital admissions or to assess potential long term care requirements.

Candidates must be able to manage a large team setting individual and team targets. Strong IT skills, with use of Swift and Excel are essential, as is a good understanding of Domiciliary Care Standards. Candidates must have an understanding of budget management and relevant legislation which impacts on the service. You must also be able to demonstrate an ability to lead, motivate and initiate change.

This position is mobile across the County, so access to and use of a car is essential. This post is subject to enhanced CRB clearance.
