Regional Manager

Employer:Fairbridge

Salary:Starting salary between £34,531 - £41,700 gross per annum (inc. London Weighting) with the potential to rise - plus benefits.

Hours:

Working pattern:Full Time, Permanent position

Location:London

Closing date:12/09/2008 17:30 PM

Fairbridge has achieved a leading position as a provider of essential personal and social development programmes to young people that other organisations cannot engage. One challenge is to maintain and further develop this across the Capital.

Across England, Scotland and Wales and onboard our dedicated sail training vessel “Spirit of Fairbridge”, in excess of 3,700 young people voluntarily participate in our programme each year. Last year some 400 of these came through our centres in London.

Reporting to the Regional Director (South), you will manage the Kennington team directly, have over-arching responsibilities for the Hackney Centre and provide a clear lead for Fairbridge across London in support of the national strategic objectives to expand our provision and reach out to more young people in areas of greatest need. After a period of consolidation you will develop the teams to reach their full potential.

Directing the local fundraising team to ensure income targets are achieved, you will maintain and then build on the current momentum of income generation. To achieve this you will be expected to achieve an influential position with opinion formers and service commissioners within Local Authorities.

You will be a dynamic manager of human, physical and financial resources, with a range of business, project management and communication skills in a fast moving service delivery environment.

Equal Opportunities

Fairbridge is committed to diversity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. Registered charity no.206807.
