Lewisham youth offending service are looking for an experienced practitioner to join our innovative, welcoming team as the Reparation Co-ordinator.
You’ll be responsible for implementing restorative programmes for young people which allows them to make amends for harm caused, either to individual victims or to the wider community. The programmes will also support young people to gain skills and accreditation for future employment.
You must have extensive experience of working with young people involved in offending, and have a good understanding of the youth justice system and wider legislation and policy relating to children.
You will have a commitment to valuing diversity and ensuring participation. It is an excellent chance to work in partnership with agencies in the community and voluntary sector, business, criminal justice and social care fields. Some evening and Saturday working will be required.
