Home-Start South Downs is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the welfare of families with young children. Supported by paid staff, volunteers support families at home, helping to prevent family crisis and breakdown.

HSSD is an established, dynamic and expanding scheme and requires an experienced manager to:

• Build links with the community and other service providers
• Develop key funder relationships and prepare bids
• Oversee overall service delivery
• Support the Board in meeting its responsibilities

Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, experience of working with families and/or children; strategic planning; managing personnel.
