Senior Development Project Assistant

This post will join the Council’s new Development and Regeneration team.

You will project manage your own property development schemes and assist with other projects in the team. Your role will cover the feasibility stage to project handover and will involve dealing effectively with a wide range of people at different levels.

We are looking for experience of significant involvement in teams that delivered in complex projects with multiple partners – but not necessarily with a property focus. You’ll need a working knowledge of the property development process and to show us your transferable project management skills. As well as the aptitude to learn quickly and operate in politically sensitive environments, you need well developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.

You will report to the Head of Development and Regeneration and the salary includes an allowance for deputising for the Development Project Manager as required.
