This is a new and exciting opportunity for an HR Business Operations Manager to lead the front line HR services and take accountability for the overall performance of those services. You will report to the Service Director for HR & OD, taking responsibility for establishing credible and appropriate operational HR services in the council.

Working within the overall requirements of the council’s business plan, people strategy and the HR & OD service delivery model, this role will provide the overall operating framework for HR business operations including case management, recruitment, payroll and administration. The key drivers for the service will be consistency, simplicity and effective, quality delivery.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of managing HR operational services including the provision of professional advice and support to managers on employee relations issues and payroll administration.
