We’ve taken a look at planning from a different angle… yours.
There’s only one constant in life – change!
And that’s certainly true of the Planning service here at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. It really is ‘up the revolution’ as we transform the whole way we work into a new, streamlined, systematic and team driven structure. We’re using information technology to do just about everything more effectively and with real customer focus.
So the developments here are every bit as exciting as those happening on our streets!
But that’s not all. This is one of the UK’s most sought after areas in which to live. There’s fantastic variety available. And as an Investors in People organisation, we are committed to providing you with unrivalled support, the very best training and further education.
Now if you have what it takes – from ambition, strong customer focus to knowledge of IT and excellent communication skills – we have a lot to give.
Unqualified, or working towards a Chartered Town Planner qualification, and with some experience of Development Control in the processing of small scale planning applications?
Then make the move to a team where gaining a broad foundation will set you up for the future. Training will be given for you to qualify for RTPI membership.
You will mainly be dealing with small scale planning applications. As Duty Officer, you’ll provide pre-application advice to members of the public, relating to all aspects of the Development Control service.
For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Paul Butt, Southern Area Team Manager, on 01628 685698 or Diane Charlton, Principal Planning Officer on 01628 685699.
