Web Editor needed to join Tower Hamlet’s busy Web Team to help with the maintenance of the council’s website and intranet. You will need to have excellent writing skills and solid experience in publishing, preferable for the web. Ideally you will have experience of content management systems and be experienced in writing using in-house style, proof reading and copy editing. You will be required to ensure all content on the website and intranet meets corporate communications standards in terms of both writing and design style.
You will have good organisational and time management skills, and excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
You will be reporting to the Web Content Manager and working closely with ICT and service owners to improve the council’s online services.
