12 month Fixed Term Contract

The main purposes of the post are:

• To assist in the management, development and implementation strategies, policies, procedures, strategic operations, projects and initiatives to deliver a sustainable customer focused, high quality, cost effective Street-Pride services for all stakeholders including residents, commercial businesses, internal council services, elected members etc.
• providing strategic support and consultation with Head of Service / Service Managers and Operations Managers on the direction and service delivery of all Street- Pride services (Waste Management and Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance and Fleet Management, etc.)

With particular reference to:

• Environmental Legislation
• Participation in Service Planning
• Involvement with Strategy Performance / Project Board as appropriate
• Project Management
• External Funding

You will be working in conjunction with service managers, operational managers and strategic managers to ensure a co-ordinated approach to the delivery of Street-Pride services for the residents of Walsall.

You must have substantial experience, which need to include management/ supervisory level and a relevant Business and Procurement qualification.
