We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and enthusiastic SIMS software specialist to join our dedicated and friendly SIMS Support Team. We are fully funded by income from our 83 schools and are focused on providing excellent customer service and value for money. This was evident from the high scores and supportive comments we received from our schools in the recent SIMS accreditation survey.
As a member of our busy team you will support our schools via telephone, remote support and on-site visits. You will be involved in implementing new initiatives and training to further develop the effective use of management information software in schools.
This is a demanding role for a highly motivated, flexible team player who can manage their workload to meet deadlines and contribute to new projects. You must have excellent communication skills, be a fast learner, have good problem solving skills and be committed to supporting schools.
Experience of using and/or supporting various ICT applications and SIMS software is essential and experience of SIMS technical, Assessment, Performance Analysis and/or reporting would be a definite advantage. Experience of working in schools or a customer service environment is required as is a good understanding of school administrative procedures.
A driving licence and use of a car for work purposes is required, for which mileage will be paid. Appointment within the grade will depend upon experience and qualifications.
