Shaw Trust, as the UK’s largest provider of employment services for disabled people, is expanding its Pathways to Work provision. People with disabilities and health problems often want to work, but can’t. We’re here to change that – giving them everything they need to get into employment.
As an Employment Adviser you will:
manage and support a caseload of clients
undertake effective interviews, ensuring clients receive the right advice to reach their potential and find sustainable employment
break down barriers our clients face when trying to get back to work and achieve challenging targets.
To be successful as the Employment Adviser you will have:
excellent communication skills
creativity and determination
flair for delivering excellent service
a track record in a recruitment/employment role
an ability and willingness to travel around the Portsmouth area to provide outreach services as well as attending meetings and events as required, for which business travel expenses will be covered.
