Senior HR Officers
HR in Brent is at the heart of the business and this means you will be working in a business partner model of HR within the departments.
Currently there are roles in Environment and Culture, and Housing and Community Care. Championing the empowerment of managers to manage is the key to success in this role. Varied and busy, this role encompasses complex employee relations casework, supporting managers to achieve successful outcomes and dealing with organisational change.
A CIPD qualified individual with the ability to work with managers, helping them ‘to do’ and not ‘doing it for them’ is at the heart of the of the way in which you can influence real change in the business.
You must have excellent communication skills, and be able to engender trust and confidence, with your persuasive abilities building successful working relationships across the services.
We have an ambitious programme of change spearheaded by a
dynamic Chief Executive and you will be an integral part of the HR Department who will be driving forward the council striving to improve services to our customers.
These are career graded posts and there is the potential to increase
your skills and then your salary to the next band.
