We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to help us communicate with our staff and our public in Oxfordshire. The role includes helping to develop good relations with diverse communities, dealing with local and national media, communicating with over 1000 members of staff and working closely with partner agencies.
You will have a nationally recognised qualification in journalism, public relations or internal communications and have experience in at least one of these fields. Excellent writing and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to plan and prioritise. You must also be able to travel throughout the Force area and work out-of-hours as part of an on-call rota. You will be joining a very busy team at a time when improving communication between the police and the public has never been more important.
