In your role as assistant editor of our corporate website, you will make a big impact on how our visitors – ranging from local authorities to journalists to political parties – view us on a daily basis. With an engaging writing style and ability to identify with different audiences, you will help to make our website and newsletter interesting, relevant and up-to-date with the latest news.

With your attention to detail and excellent editorial skills, you will also support our publications programme, managing the production of materials from inception through to publication, to the highest standards.

To be successful in this position, you will need your expertise in online communication to develop innovative ways to engage with our audiences and experience of working in a publications role with editing skills. With a proven ability to multi-task, you will be comfortable meeting tight deadlines, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to form productive and positive relationships with all levels of staff.
