This post involves the day to day management of a day service resource centre for people with a learning disability. The day service has developed to offer a wide range of community, social and leisure activities including a volunteers service and “Nibbles” a catering outlet. There is a strong emphasis on the principles of “Valuing People” and delivering person centred services in order to support people with a learning disability to access new and varied opportunities.
The new post holder will be leading the service through an exciting period of change and development alongside and in consultation with people who use the service, their carers and the staff team.
