Sessional tutors

Equivalent to £27,588 - £31,527 (pay award pending) paid on a pro rata sessional/hourly basis according to qualifications and experience.

Islington Adult and Community Learning Service works with the Borough’s most disadvantaged and vulnerable adults to improve their quality of life and life chances. Our programmes are designed to provide learning opportunities that widen participation and attract people into learning and are delivered in a wide range of neighbourhood and community settings across the Borough. We are looking for fully qualified and experienced sessional tutors to join the team to teach accredited and non-accredited courses at entry level and level 1 in the following subject areas:

In our first Steps neighbourhood learning programme:

Basic ICT

  • Introduction to Computers for beginners
  • Computer Literacy and Information Technology (CLAIT)
  • European Computer Driving Licence (level 1)
  • Various ICT short courses
