ENTRUST has been appointed by HMRC as the Regulator of the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). The LCF allows Landfill Operators to pass the tax forgone element of its landfill tax liability to Environmental Bodies (EBs), who are then obligated to spend the monies on one or more of the ‘approved objects’ appearing in the Landfill Tax Regulations (Regulations) 1996. ENTRUST is responsible for regulating the use of these monies by EBs, to ensure that they comply with the Regulations. Income to the Fund currently stands at £80m, with EBs holding over £160m.

Following a strategic review of its business, ENTRUST is proposing to relocate its offices from Manchester to Leamington Spa. As part of the relocation, we are looking to recruit a number of talented individuals to fill the above roles, to strengthen the regulation of the LCF:

We are seeking to recruit a talented Auditor to manage ENTRUST’s performance management systems and Internal Audit Function. The successful candidate will be a qualified Auditor and/or Accountant, who will be expected to work across the organisation to ensure that performance management is fully embedded into the Company. She/he will work closely with the Chief Executive, reporting to the Audit Committee to ensure that the Company’s governance framework remains robust and fit for purpose.
